VPN failure L2TP (privacy abroad)

Since completing a update of the Mac OS, my VPN will not function at all. Until then, I had no problems. I have the same system version on my Macbook but it was not a beta but a regular release. I have tried to reboot several times including a complete shutdown. No luck.Have there been any issues with this build in using VPN?

As this isn’t a code-level question, you’ll probably have more luck asking over in the Apple Support Communities, run by AppleCare. The folks over there are more likely to have experience in user-level VPN setup issues.
