I lost all the files of my project (stolen computer + no final backup). Can i still download the project?

My app has 2 or 3 years old. My computer was stolen on a trip, and the whole project files where there. I didn't backup because it was a not very important app.

Anyway, now there are some sponsors interested on the app and i want to update it, make some changes but i don't know where to recover those files. Any suggestion?

You can't. Your uploaded app is compiled. It does not contain the source code. I know it's a little late, but why did you not have a backup? There are so many free services available...

As mentioned, you cannot recover the project unless you have some version of it on a disk (USB, website, hard drive). However, that shouldn't discourage you. Based on the time specified, the project likely requires a rebuild with the new standards available. In building apps, I find myself frequently starting over (or at least re-thinking my approach). I think that is a healthy attitude to adopt since Apple APIs change drastically each year. For the future, you might consider synching your project with bitbucket.org (allows private repositories) and run Time Machine on a separate USB/Thunderbolt drive. Hope this helps ~ At least to know that this happens to developers all the time. Think of it as a challenge.
