WatchKit 2.0 app deleted from watch

After eventually getting an app to debug on the watch and work successfully with its counterpart iOS app, I disconnect my phone and go about my day expecting to be able to test my watch app the real world. However, frequently I find that a numberof hours later the watch app has been uninstalled from the watch. The option to install my watch app from the "Watch" app on the phone never, ever, works (is this by design for apps signed with dev profiles or is it just another bug?).

Has anybody else experienced this?

Most likely, it's a bug but then, WatchOS even at version 1 was unpredicable. I've had to

repair by wiping my watch multiple times over the past few months and that's with WatchOS 1.1.

2 being beta still isn't likely to be even that reliable.

This happens to me as well. It seems like it didn't happen with xcode beta 5, but now happens almost every time with xcode beta 6.

I'd suggest filing a bug report. Or you can keep the debugger running and test within bluetooth range of the Mac I guess.

This seems to be fixed with iOS9/watchOS 2/Xcode 7 GM. The watch app still gets uninstalled for some reason (possibly by building & running just the iOS scheme after having previously built the watch extension scheme?) but it is able to be installed from the Watch app on the iPhone without the need to run from Xcode again.
