Has anyone been able to download the WatchOS 2 GM at all? If so how exactly did you do it, as I'm showing as no update available.

Yes.... need to download the file on your iphone, and then when it asks install it to the watch. Then run the UPDATE from the WATCH app.
Thanks for that, I'd installed it on the iPhone but not the watch itself.
I dont see the WatchOS 2 GM. All I see is the WatchOS 2 beta. What am i missing here?

Dang. I just can't get it to update to the GM release. I have the Beta 5 release on my watch, but if I look for updates, it says it is up to date. But I know it isn't. I tried everything that I could think of. This is really annoying.
Update: It finally showed up in the Watch App on the phone in software update.
I actually installed the CONFIG file on both the watch and iphone...maybe that will help. (it says just the watch, but I hit iphone at first by mistake)
Hey all, if you download this config file it's going to need the iOS 9.1 beta file on your phone. If you're looking for the watchOS 2 GM Seed, update your phone to iOS 9GM Seed via iTunes (DL the seed then hold down option and click update then select the GM Seed ipsw) then go into the Apple Watch app tap on general and then software update and it will prompt you to download the watch OS2 GM seed. This is the only way to get to the watchOS2 GM Seed. The configuration file that under watch OS to Beta is meant to be paired with iOS 9.1 beta.

Nvm. Got it. Had to reinstall my original watchOS profile. Then it showed up.
I updated my iPhone to iOS9 GM (via iTunes and using the option-Update method). It installed fine, but unlike your suggestion, when I check for an update for in the Apple Watch app, it just reports that 1.0.1 is the current version. I don't have any profiles installed on the phone or watch, so I think you have to do it like the instructions say and download the watch profile to get the update to show up.
I re-installed the config profile (on my Apple Watch and iPhone both, but it says you only have to do the watch) and then I checked for an update to the Watch. I did not have to install the iOS 9 GM first!
