Does Apple TV has Mic input for developers to use?

I know that Mic is available on Remote but not sure if it is available for developers to use for example voice chat kind of apps.

No, using the mic is not possible. Please file a bug report under "tvOS" on https://bugreport.apple.com with the functionality you'd like to see here.

But it is working with Apple TV simulator from Xcode 7.1

Did you fill the bugreport? Otherwise i would do it. In my opinion its elementary for input on the apple tv.
