On-Demand Resources: do initially installed tags count towards app size limits

The maximum size for Apple TV apps is 200MB. ODR tags can be marked as initially installed.


The Prefetching Tags section of the On-Demand Resources guide says of these initially installed tags: "The size of the resources is included in the total size for the app in the App Store". The Platform Sizes for On-Demand Resourcessection lists a maximum "Initial install tags" size of 2GB.


Does the size of initiallly initiallytags count against the 200 MB app size limit for Apple TV apps? Thanks.

No - the 200 MB is for the main app bundle. Initial install tags are for up to 2 GB in addition to that.
