Removed Photos framework? How can I access to my Photos inside of apps?

In tvOS the Photos framework was removed (don't know why... 😟). There is any alternative method (CloudKit perhaps...) to access to my iCloud Photo Library inside of an app?

There is not currently this capability in the SDK. Please file a feature request at bugreporter.apple.com if you would like to see it in a future release.

We're going to handle this by integration with our iPhone and potentially android apps via AWS S3. We create an app that needs user photos to work and while stock photos are ok for awhile, user content is the desire for most people.

Steps:

Link to device app via a code

Store code in user preferences

Select photo on iPhone, iPad or android device.

Upload on device to AWS S3

trigger a download from AWS S3 on the tvOS app

make changes

upload changes to AWS S3 (no permanent storage on tvOS)

Or looks like if you have CloudKit in your iOS app, perhaps there are options
