Your Apple ID is already associated with a Team Agent enrolled in this program

Hi

How can we (2 people) develop a single app? How can we share provisioning profiles (inlcusive APNS)?

Do we really need to enroll for the organization program? When we try to do that we get the following error:

Kind regards

Only one person needs to actually enroll in the developer program—that person will be the team agent and can invite others to the team. The app will be sold under the name of the organizing person, but you can share provisioning profiles and the like and don't have to set up a company.

Thank you for your reply, but how and where can we create a team?

When an individual enrolls, he or she starts out as a team of one. You don't have to be a company or a corporation to be a team. The originator of the account is known as the "agent" and has ultimate control of the entire team. The agent can log into iTunes Connect and navigate to the Users and Roles module to add a new team member.

Ok, I added the other guy under Users&Roles. But how can I create shared provisioning profiles and so on? Sorry, but it's the first time we do that 🙂

Your partner should be able to access the Member Center and download everything he needs. I think having both of you on the same development team means that it will just work, but I'm not 100% sure.

I added him to the team in itunesconnect, but he can't download anything? Do I have to do something more?

What specifically is he having trouble with? Is he able to log into iTunes Connect? (using his own AppleID, of course)

The problem is (was), that me and a colleague tried to share provisoning profiles, etc. but we didn't know that we need to enroll an apple-id as organization. Our goal is to develop an app together with push notifications and for that we need one single (no wildcard) bundle-id for that app. The apple support told us now, that we need to enroll as organization, because both of us are enrolled as indviduals... thank you anyway!

Accepted Answer

So both of you are already enrolled? That would place the two of you under different development teams. Your partner will want to abandon his developer membership (at least for this app) and work under yours instead.

yes, we are both already enrolled. Thank you, we will do that!
