Bug, or am I just blind/stupid?

If I say to Watch Siri "send a message to my girlfriend", she responds appropriately, listens for the message, and displays the recognized text along with a button that says "Don't send" - but no send button. I could not figure out how to get it sent, so I gave up and created the message on my phone.

Is it me?

Running the GM version of watchOS 2.0.

Thanks

Have you tried the issue-command-and-forget approach that I outined above? Experiment with it - the reason there's no send button as there was with watchOS 1 is that it's meant to be fire and forget. You have to trust her and put your arm down.

Does it work if you then say "Hey Siri, Send"?

See my post below.

Actually, If you say "Hey Siri - send a message to my girlfriend and tell her I will see her in the pub" she will dictate and send unless you click don't send. She assumes you want to send and if you wait a few seconds it will go.

You don't even have to wait anymore. Raise your wrist and say "Hey Siri" and as soon as the screen starts to respond, say your command and lower your wrist knowing it will go. You have to trust her and put your arm down. You may get a haptic feedback if she needs more info or if she added a note or appointment just to show it was done.

Andre, is it not working for you like this?

No, I waited a while and it did not send. I was quite puzzled.

Same issue - it says "ok I'll send this", and shows me the text.

Now, I just tried again, and stared at this message for a few minutes. Eventually I put my arm down, and it appears to have sent at that point.

I guess I have my answer. You have to trust her and put your arm down. That wasn't intuitive though.

Thanks

I agree that the fire-and-forget is not intuitive - I like it actually, but I hope they document it better when they release it properly next week.
