iBooks on tvOS?

As a person with a physical disability which has me paralyzed from the shoulders down… I'm wondering if there is a built-in iBooks app for tvOS?

I know the only current way to view iBooks on Apple TV is through screen mirroring but I am unable to use this since it requires you to navigate on your phone or tablet which I am not able to do.

I am able to use devices that use a remote wish I copy the IR code to another remote I use with my mouth. This way I'm able to control the Apple TV.

That is why I am asking if iBooks will be native to tvOS, allowing me to program the IR codes from the new Apple remote to control iBooks on the Apple TV.

It would be great to be able to read books on my TV during sleepless nights.

Any information will be greatly appreciated 🙂

What you're asking is an ATV user-centric question, that may have to wait for the public release and asked on the public forums, I think.

Okay, thank you. I will wait for the public release.

I apologize if this was the wrong area to post.

Now that the new Apple TV has been announced, you can definitely request that it include features that are important to you.

This is one the engineers may not have thought of that could be useful to many people and I would suggest you request it here:
