The Siri Remote just started lagging very badly and now I can't test my game using the Siri Remote because the latency is just too long. I have restarted the Apple TV through settings, and by unplugging and plugging it back in, still nothing. This seems to have happened after I plugged the Siri Remote into my Mac. Does anybody have any suggestions.

Have you tried turning off bluetooth on your mac? Maybe it's interfering with the remote somehow. Try moving the Apple TV around to see if certain positions give it better signal strength.
Also, if you hold the menu and volume+ buttons for 5 seconds, the remote will go into pairing mode, so you could try to re-sync it and see if that helps.
