Problem searching for text in XCode 7.0

I have added a number of frameworks (CoreAudio, CoreAudioKit, ....) to a project by adding them to build phases - "Link Binaries with Libraries". Header files appear in the list of files on the left of the XCode IDE. When I search for a particular text, using Find->Find in Project, and including the entire project, text that I know is there does not show up in the search results. For instance, when I search the entirte project for the text "StartNote", I get nothing, while there are about 15 hits when I search specifically in the file MusicDevice.h in the AudioUnit framework.

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you.

Yosemite 10.10.5, Xcode 7.0.

OK, here is a kludge which at least allows a search for text strings in header files belonging to the new frameworks. (At least this is what i came up with. I imagine this is a really bad idea, and if anyone has a better one, that would be great. )

Import the framework into the project, as described above.

Create a new group, under the project - say ConcreteXXXHeaders, where XXX refers to the framework.

Choose any header in a particular framework, and do: file->show in finder .(This brings you, in Finder, to the Headers section of the appropriate framework of the XCode.app bundle.)

Select all the headers you want and drag them to the new group.

Let's call these Concrete Headers, since they are really there. You can search the Concrete Headers for any text. As long as you include headers using #include "framework_name/file_name.h" (I'm doing C++) I think these Concrete Headers will not interfere with anything, (But I'm sure I will find out.)

For me, File>Open Quickly... works well when seaching APIs containing word like "StartNote", have your tried?
