Had the apple TV for 6 days now and I have to keep charging the remote. Anybody else noticed poor battery life ?
Also I have a Dell U2410 display and I can`t get any sound out is there a problem with the HDMI

My battery is still up and running from the out of the box charge.
By the way, a Dell U2410 doesn't have built-in speakers so unless you have some external speakers, you're not getting any sound ;-)

I charged mine as soon as I took it out of the box but after 2 days it disconnected fron the apple TV and I had to recharge it again. Now it happend again and I had not used it but for 15 mins yesterday and today it disconnected again and am recharging now.
Yes I have the dell attached to external speakers but I get no sound ? and the external speakers are working on other imputs.
Same here, havn't used the lightning port on the remote yet. Still the battery load from out of the box.
Perhaps you got a faulty batch? Ask Apple for this.
Do you have any other bluetooth devices around or wifi routers or mouse?

Yes I have an 2 iPhone and 3 iPad and a wifi router.
