7 is fine for me...no glaring issues compared to 6.

Always a possibility. Especially given that the vast majority don't chime in with contentment when they're otherwise busy working, etc.
Point is, you may have issues, but without a blanket cry of foul over 7, as an example, they are typically specific to your environment, and not something that might be easily laid at the feet of the current toolset, which means you are facing a bit more troublesome troubleshooting.
Best way to deal with scenario is to baseline your IDE (perhaps make a test user account on your computer), then methodically introduce whichever variables apply to your workflow and coding in steps until you can hopefully stumble into one or more triggers, at which point you can then scan the forums with a bit more specificity and targeted requests for help, etc.
Still no joy, file bug reports and try to hold out for the next version of Xcode.
