How to make App icons without Photoshop CC 2014

I dont have Photoshop CC 2014 so how do I create the new two layer icons?

Can't you just drag the layers into XCode?

I got an answer in another thread.

It seems a lot of people are overthinking the icon issue. It's not that complicated, but all of the tools Apple provides sure make it seem like it is. All you need to do is create 3 separate JPEG or PNG files, one for each layer of the icon. Then simply drag and drop them into the Xcode icon asset catalog dialog. The rest is magic. Nothing else needs be done.

Maybe so, though I wish the download would work. I have Photoshop CC 2014 but, I

am not a Photoshop user. Too many options and not really good for freehand stuff at

least from my workflow standpoint.
