App auto-launch when charger plugged

-It is not doable because IOS do not allow it at all ?

Would it be possibe with a popup or something that the user have to confirm ?

To say the same thing from a different perspecive, this won't be possible because there is absolutely no way that you can have your app automatically be launched. What would launch it? You can't change iOS so the only way to launch it would be to have another app of yours running all the time, but you have no way of ensuring that.

To answer your question "what would launch it?" : as when you plugg your charger the Iphone can automatically identify that it is charging with a song, a little icon etc etc... I thought we could trigger this and auto-launch an app with that.

But that's iOS that does that - you have absolutely no control over iOS period - you app is "sandboxed" - meaning that it can't touch how iOS itself runs. I promise you - you absolutely can't do what you're wanting. If I weren't 100% sure, I wouldn't say so.

Maybe, I can do with a background update just like e.g. Whatsapp is doing ? but with detecting the fact that my iphone is plugged ? and ask for an action from the user ?
