Another wave of dev kits

You can update the OS over the air, and you could use TestFlight to deploy your test builds onto the device. However, having a cable would certainly enable a faster debug cycle, and allow you to directly attach to the unit to utilize instruments and see log output.

I've registered for the lottery but miss the first and second wave, I would really love to test the app I'm working on but I've received nothing but the "share your excitement" mail. I really hope to see new invites coming in the next days or so.

There are tons of developers that heard there was developer kits during the keynote but like me concluded it would be paying full price for it. I was out of country at meetings after WWDC with no internet so I had no idea until it was too late to register to get one. So now I can't really do anything until it's out because developing without the device especially something unique like this or Apple Watch is difficult.
