Membership buying issues

When I enrol myself for developer program of $99 as individual with my existing apple id I get big page of

"we are unable to process your request

An unknown error occured"

Well I was able to complete my purchase, I received the inital order email, and my bank account shows the charge. However, when I log in to the developer center it's as if I never did a thing. That was over an hour ago at this point. FYI, I'm just an individual developer so it's not like I need the organization to approve it.

For devanshu2: Just try again—this happened to me too and it worked the second try.


For NSHenry: Have you waited 24 hours since you purchased the membership? It takes time to be activated once you've made the purchase.

I have the same problem what do you do in that case?
