I have the GM installed and there is still no way I can find to change the name of the apple tv. This is going to be annoying because we have multiple in the house. On previous version you have been able to set the name of the device.

Yes you can!
Go to Settings / Airplay / Apple TV Name.
You can choose a pre-defined name, or specify a custom name of your choice.
The name changed here gets reflected in Settings / About / Name too.
Yea, i was stumped because i know i have changed the name of my device....not sure if i was crazy or not
