When I press the "+" button on the Siri remote, my TV volume goes up, but the second I let go, it decreases back to zero again (one step at a time).
I have my settings on "auto" for Adjust TV Volume and have a Vizio TV.
Any thoughts on this or possibly a bug?
Cover the IR sensor on the front of your remote. Does it still happen?
If I turn up the volume and then immediately cover the IR sensor, it does not reduce the volume.
I see two possibilities: either the Apple TV is mis-programming the remote, or the volume down button is stuck. Do you have another TV you can hook your kit up to?
Re-paired the remote and that seemed to work.
