At the moment I am placing all my objects on the map as separate SKSpriteNodes with physics bodies. I just read somewhere that performance can significantly increase if I just load a pre-made map with all the objects on it. The game would need to know which tiles to collide with and which the player can walk through.
Are there any tutorials in SWIFT to help with this? I tried following "Super Koalio" from Ray Wenderlich's tutorials, but I couldnt get very far with the results.
