Bewildering Forums Structure

The forums structure appears to be regressing. I cannot identify any section where I can post/read information about the OSX beta. I always use bugreport in any case but the developer forums did allow one to see workarounds. In general, my forum feedback is that the structure appears more confusing than ever.

There is a beta section clearly shown on the forums home page.

I don't know what is confusing about that.

The only subject under Beta is tvOS. As TommieC stated, he was looking for an OSX Beta section. Which currently doesn't exist.

Well now isn't that just peachy?

Sigh.

You know the routine - use the report bugs link below right to feedback against the forums.

And it might be a good time to bring up other issues, as well, such as moderated posts that stay unmoderated, lack of screenshot viewing by anyone but Apple staffers, a search that has a mind of it's own and no way to disable tree'd threading. As for the lack of beta forum for OS X, it appears to be a matter of priorities (ATV! ATV!, and it is just one of a handful they would do well to activate (unless they know that el cap is so bad they just can't take the heat...).

But I wouldn't hold my breath on changes soon - Apple is just another user here, and JIVE Software apparently isn't paid to do much tweaking, so...

Happy Holidays!

Agreed on all counts and I'm glad I found this post about the issue because I was about to start my own. For some bizarre reason after the release of iOS 9 and El Captian the pertinent forum pages for those OS's just disapeared under the BETA section of the forums. Not a big deal except Apple nearly instantly released iOS beta 9.1 and similar for osx 10.11+. Obviously the bug reporting function is most important but it was nice to see if other devs were dealing with any similar issues others might be having, workarounds etc. Oh well, strange!
