Hi guys.
Today I'm trying to update my XCode to 7.2 (the official release), but after staying a while in "Waiting", it dropped me off. I tried "Check Unfished Downloads" bu nothing. I installed all the mac upgrades until today, an nothing. I restarted the Mac serveral time, and nothing.
Any idea, please? I need to update the XCode to make test with my iPhone and iPad.
Nevermind. It just started after waiting a long time. Let's say around 20 min.
I don't think it just started waiting for a long time. My AppStore app on Macbook Air says Xcode was already upgraded to 7.2 on Dec 11, 2015.
However, Xcode is still 7.1.1 after several times of restarts. I tried 'check unfinished download' several times and nothing has changed.
In addition, I tried another account to log in AppStore and 'check unfinished download', I still got the same result.
Let's see how many days are necessary to update my Xcode actually to 7.2 after AppStore app said it is already updated to 7.2...
I'm having the same issue. Very annoying.
I have the same probleme... AppStore App shows Xcode version 7.2, but installed version is still 7.1.1
I am currently trying to download and install the Xcode dmg file... wait and see...
I also had this problem. This problem went away after I did the following:
1. Upgrade to El Capitan
2. Hitting "Update" from the Xcode listing under the Mac Apptstore's main page (on the right, under Free apps)
Did this ever get solved? I am seeing Xcode 7.1 (7B91b) as my installed version but in the Mac app sore I am prompted to "Open" xcode and do not have the option to uprgade.
Going to Applications in Finder and moving Xcode to the trash bin fixed the problem for me. As soon as I entered in my password to confirm moving Xcode to the trash, the App Store prompted me on whether or not I wanted to cancel the update or delete the app. I opted to delete Xcode, and the App Store immediately began downloading the update.
Hope this helps anyone else who's having the same problem.
