Unenroll from iOS 9.2

Hey guys, I'm new here on the forum, nice to meet you!

So, I have a question: I have my iPhone 6 enrolled in the beta test for iOS 9 since a couple of months, but now I'd like to unenroll and put my backup in a new phone.

I understand that while using a beta software you can't make a backup that fits a non-beta one, but now that iOS 9.2 came out I'm thinking if I can. Technically the software my phone has right now (iOS 9.2 - 13C75) is public, right? The beta for iOS 9.3 has not come out yet, so I should be ok...

The question is, am I right? Can I go ahead and succesfully put my iOS 9.2 backup in a new, unenrolled iPhone? Because the Unenrollment page talks only about going back to iOS 8...I hope it's just not updated

Thank you for your help!

So go back to 8.x, then update from there to the 9.2 public release.

Any news on this one, currently have same question on my 5S and planning to go to 6S in Januar
