Hey all,
did something important change and I slept through that change? For the past few years, up until a cuple of weeks ago I was able to test the Apps we develop for the Mac App Store by launching the App, an then entering the the user ID and pass word that I set up using iTunes Connect.
In El Capitan, I now get the following error:
"This Apple ID has not yet been used with the Apple Store",
and when I want to fix it, the Apple Store App takes me through the steps of creating a new Apple ID, complete with mandatory credit card information. It looks as if instead of the test App Store I'm connected to the Live one.
When I try the same on an older system (with the identical binary), this does not happen (e.g. mavericks) - I can test my MAS app without a problem. This leads me to beliece that there must be some setting that I overlooked, a toggle I need to throw in order to be again able to test my Sandboxed MAS apps locally with my normal test user id.
Anyone have any pointers?
