Xcode 7.2 Cursor movement

Hi,

I'm running El Capitan 10.11.2 and Xcode 7.2.

When I place my cursor at a location within a .m Objective C class file, the cursor immediatly jumps to a new location. By the time I realize what has happened my code is a mess and I have to undo my changes. I dont use standard colors and font on my iMac and I do use the standard colors and font on my MBP and the editor behaves the same on both.

I'm anxiously awaiting an Xcode minor release with a patch for this annoying glitch!

Do you have any 3rd party cursor/screen/finder/window hacks installed?

Does the issue persist if you log into your mac as another user and edit in Xcode there?

I am having the same issue. Any help?

Having same issue and its **** annoying

starting to code some place and it moves to other place

😠😊

Same issue...

Same Issue...

It just started with an XCode update yesterday.

I'm running XCode 7.2 on El Capitan 10.11.3.

The hardware is a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)

My machine is stock, as is all of the software. The only 3rd party items are Chrome, Android Studio, Windows Code, and Beyond Compare.

I have a theory that this is an excessive static charge issue. I only notice it when I'm in the office, which is insanely dry in the dead of winter.

The other possibility is that your Mac is paired with a nearly Bluetooth mouse or other input device.

I have the same issue and it just started after upgrading to El Capitan and Xcode 7.3.1. This has never happened before on this Macbook, purchased last June and running Yosemite until a few days ago, or on 4 others over the last 4 years running numerous OS and Xcode combinations, but only after the El Cap upgrade. I suspect it is a bug.
