Cross Fade Transition broken in iOS 9

Having some trouble with the cross fade SKTransition in iOS 9.

In iOS 8 the cross fade worked correctly by increasing the opacity of the incoming scene while the outgoing scene remained at full opacity.

In iOS 9 the cross fade transition reduces the opacity of the outgoing scene at the same time as it increases the opacity of the incoming scene. Since neither scene is at full opacity the result is a transition that appears to darken a bit during its duration. It causes the transition to flicker a little bit at higher speeds. Again this worked correctly in iOS 8 where the transition works smoothly.

I realize it will take months but it would be great to see this fixed.

Hello nilPill.

File a radar about it.

good luck.

Like many other bugs I've found it won't be logged because it's not my job. Thankfully my SpriteKit project is finished and I won't make the mistake of using this framework again.

There should be no need to file bugs for things this obviously broken. A comment in a forum (on Apple servers) should be noted by diligent employees and internally followed up.

Like Sprite Kit should have an inspired and empowered product manager and efficent and capable project managers and enlightened developers cracking out the most amazing 2D game engine in the history of man.... after all, they've got Metal, and a very small array of hardware to target.

There's not many excuses for its current state. And none of them are acceptable.

So you won't use spritekit anymore but you will be glad if they fix the transition bug?

Post me an example of the bug code so can test it. I have no issues with transition effects.

Hello Deeds, if you buy 51% of the Apple stocks then you can start to organize how things work at Apple.

But until then, i suggest you show you are a good member of the developer program and start to file bugs.
