Trying to update my Watch to 2.2 on an iPhone running 9.3, and every time I hit install, it says "Verifying..." then within 10 seconds or so displays the following error:
"Unable to Verify Update: The watchOS update couldn't be verified because you are not connected to the Internet."
Anyone else seeing this?

Same here. I'll try again when I wake up in a few hours. They are probably a little flooded with everyone downloading at the same time.
For me the software has already downloaded. I get the "unable verify update" error when trying to install to watch.
Same here in Australia - Software downloaded and installed but Verification fails because of "no connection to internet" Yet my iPhone is fine and is certainly connected to the internet by Wi-Fi
Same issue here. Tried restarting both iPhone and Watch; same result.
Unpaired and restored from backup, then it allowed me to install the update.

And mine just did the additional download also - all a bit weird:)
Mine downloaded the additional download, but it keeps failng still, I don't want to unlink my watch and have to relink it.
I try this morning, same thing, nothin change... 😟
