WatchOS 1.0 long push delays

Hi,

My app is using WatchOS1.0 for a long time, and users complain that there is a big delay between the time that the phone receives the push and the time it is shown on the watch itself.

My app depends on a 20 sec session timeout between the push sending and until the app connect to the server. Sometimes when I send a push I can see it reacing the phone lock screen but it takes another 5-10 sec until it will be shown on the watch face.

Is there something I can do to speed up the push presentation on the watch?

I had the same issue with WatchOS 1. My app worked most of the time, but sometimes it would take 10 seconds for the notification to appear on the watch.

Switching my app to Watch OS2 seems to solve the issue.

But by switching the app to WatchOS2 you have to change a lot of code to support it, ain't ya?
