Xcode 7.2 - I've tried everything to sort this issue,

Xcode wont let me run on my Iphone 6 - What on earth is going on?

Have you tried the advice given by Jeremy Hu from Apple in the 'More like this' section below your post? To save you a click: Look for a directory in ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/iOS DeviceSupport/ that matches the version of the OS on your device. Please zip it up and attach it to a radar at http://bugreport.apple.com. After doing that, I suspect that if you delete that directory and restart, you might be able to get past the issue.

OS on my device is 9.2.1 but i don't see folder for 9.2.1 within said directory

Do you have a folder which states 9.2.1(some random code)?
