This is important for IoT applications. I want my users to be able to connect to a private wifi, but honestly all under the hood. The wifi would'nt be used for Internet access, but only for connectivity to an IoT device.
Is this possible, to have a private router that allows a user's phone and the receiving device to communicate via wifi?
If not, then how could we achieve this proper communication? -- Certainly not bluetooth for intensive communication.
How about Multipeer Connectivity? -- From the looks it seems that it only works between ios devices.
