Is there any guidelines or recomendations for sending emails so that ios9 calendar will recognize that the email has an event in it?

I'm looking for the same thing. I don't want to put a link "Save to Calendar" on the event confirmation, I would like for it to automatically appear as a suggested event. Is there something I need to do to the email format?
try this formatting option:
Subject line: Title of Event
Body of email: day Month @ time, address
Example of body: 1 January @0800, 555 Crazy Dr, Nowhere, CA
