Comment:

My MAC mini version is 10.10.5

The BCT tool is V1.3.0

I try to ping from MAC mini to the device, which start a mdns server. It is okay.

I open wireshark tool. The MAC have not send any mdns message after receive a probe.

I think the problem is how to setup a environment can run BCT.

Anyone have metion this problem?

I also encountered this problem, I would ask you how to solve the problem in the end?

My Mac version is 10.11.2

The BCT tool is V1.3.0

I used to be successfully for the BCT test,Can you tell me how you did it.

Seems to be broken after El Capitan. My guess is the switch back to mdnsresponder from discoverd.

I had the same problem using ethernet adapter. In my case, the solution was to manually add multicast routing for this interface. Assuming your network device is the "enX" (replace "X" with the correct number), try this command:

sudo route add -net 224.0.0.0/4 -interface enX

Hope that helps, cheers.
