weather app on watchOS2

Does anyone else have an issue with the wather app loading?

As watchOS 2 is pre-release, please file a bug at http://bugreport.apple.com if you encounter any issues. Thank you!

Mine is loading just fine! I did find that things didnt seem to work very well until I registered my UDID.

For some reason my Weather app is showing my default location as the South Atlantic Ocean and the complication on the face is not showing the temp. Weird, fun stuff.

I hear they are are no thermometers in the South Atlantic Ocean... Case Solved!

Same goes for me. On my iPhone, Weather shows up correctly, but on the Watch it says South Atlantic Ocean and doesn't give any information. Same goes for the Glance. However, when I ask Siri "what's the weather like", she responds with the correct information.

I had the same issue. I tried unpairing the watch then restarting it, now the watch won't turn on at all

It takes quite a while for Weather to sync with iPhone. Opening weather on phone seems to speed up this process.

This is my experience as well. South Atlantic Ocean is shown in the Weather app on the watch, but Siri returns weather for the correct location.

I'm also experiencing this. The Weather app shows South Atlantic Ocean to be the current location. Furthermore the app and the complications doesn't display any data.

I've filed a bug.

The South Atlantic Ocean (aka The Middle of Nowhere) is actually latitude 0 longitude 0. So it means it has no location info. By restarting the watch and/or phone, I've gotten it to work, but it reverted to 0,0 later.

I add the same, but I have just unpairing the watch... the watch became black, and need to wait more than 3 min to boot again.

After everything is working for the weather... but Hey Siri is not fully operational.

When I'm inside I get South Atlantic Ocean - when I go outside it corrects. Possbily relying on GPS and when it can't get it defaults to 0,0 instead of last known location?

I submitted a bug report: 21301226

I too was experiencing the same thing with my Apple Watch. For now I just went into the Weather App configuration in the Apple Watch App and changed the default weather location to the current city I'm in. Also noticed the icon for the weather app does not look complete in the Apple Watch app. Perhaps Apple is working on modifying that app.

I went to the Weather app on the iPhone, tapped the Weather Channel logo in the bottom left corner to open The Weather Channel app (this needs to be installed on the phone also). Under settings check follow me forcast. You will need to allow The Weather Channel app. to use your location allows though.

So far this has worked for me.

This made no difference. Even with the GM of WatchOS 2, I still have an innaccurate weather complication.
