It's been stuck at about 3/4 of the way there for the last 20 minutes. I got a message that iMessage was added to the watch across my iPhone & Mac, and in the Apple Watch app it says its on software 2.0.
What should I do? I really dont feel like making this thing brickand bringing it to the Apple Store.
No one answered timely enough so I went ahead and held the side button and an option to reset the apple watch to factory settings shows up. Hope this works.
Same here and I held side button and an option to reset too, now it keeps restarting and trying to update continuosly switching between circular progress bar and apple logo. Not sure what to do.
I was able to correct this problem by hard resetting the device by holding both the digital crown and the side button together for a few seconds. Hope this helps you.
So did doing a reset work for you? Mine has been there for the better part of an hour and a half. And I don't want to brick my watch.
I had to reset too. After that when I loaded from backup apps were hanging on install. I unistalled from watch and reinstalled all is well now.
So you did a hard reset? Crown and Friends button together?
held down friends button it asked if i would like to reset. I did an unpair before so it would back up the watch.
Same issue here. Just did the hard reset. Fingers crossed.
