I have the Watch 2 Beta 1 profile installed on both my iPhone and Apple Watch. I downloaded the update through the Apple Watch app, but when it goes to install it says it failed to install. Both the watch and iPhone are fully charged and plugged in, and both have been restarted. Any ideas?

Yes, profiles are installed on both my phone and watch. I even factory reset the watch and installed the profiles again.
After my second full restore it finally installed. Weird.
I'm pretty sure you don't need to install the profile on your phone. The profile is there to let the device talk to Apple's servers so it can get the latest firmware, nothing else. If you look at the install notes, it tells you to install the profile on your watch. Installing it on your phone won't affect whether you can or can't install it on your watch.
