Certificate has an invalid issuer

Hello, I just found out today that most of my certficates have this error "This certificate has an invalid issuer".

This happens to Mac developer, iPhone developer, push service. I am not sure what happened. Can someone provide pointer on how to resolve this?

Thank you.

Hello,

I have an problem with certificate, if i create an new certificate i'm getting this error "The certificate has an invalid issuer". Please suggest me what i need to do.

So how to resolve it?

Thanks,

Igor

Any news on how to solve this?

XCode is getting better and better in eating up time that could be used for development rather than understanding how to deal with new settings...

In Keychain Access, I went to the system tab and deleted the expired certifications.

That made everything green.

sudo rm -rf /

now I am happy!

This thread has a few helpful responses: https://forums.developer.apple.com/message/114001#114001

Your certificate issuing system is broken.

I have followed every step to reissue my developer cerificate and each time I get reissued one with an invalid issuer error. I have clinets to support and I can't do that until this is resolved. People are asking the same thing over and over since your February debacle with the WWDC.

Please fix this now.

This signing is so hosed up. How can it not sign when with a free account, I only have one device?

"because the team has already reached the maximum number of ipad devices."

Does anyone a nuclear bash script that deletes every certificate, crumb, trail and cookie of Xcode? with extreme prejuidice.

This is forum was a lot of help about this issue,

I finally beat apple's code signing into submission and got it to compile and install an app on my ipad.

Xcode 7.3.1

iOS 9.3.2

iPad A1475

completely nuke

->remove all developer accounts/apple ids

->xcode

-> anything in ~/Library/MobileDevice/Provisioning Profiles

->anything in /Library/Developer that has *Xcode* and *xcode*

->any previous developer or distribution certificates in the keychain

->install that new wwdc cert

->install xcode

->add account, build and run demo

WIN

Certificate has an invalid issuer
