Good morning! While I am thrilled to see Apple open up access to many areas of WatchOS and WatchKit, I was wondering - Am I missing something? They announced access to the Digital Crown and Accelerometer, has anyone seen mention of access to the gyroscope in the device?
Let me know if I am blind...
Yeah, i'm interested in accessing the Accelerometer like the keynote said.
I believe access to the accelerometer have already been announced: https://developer.apple.com/watchos/pre-release/ It's the gyroscope in the device I can't seem to find any information on regarding its access from CoreMotion
CoreMotion is available in watchOS 2, you could get access to accelerometer and gyroscope with the framework.
There is no gyroscope in the watch - at least that's what i was told in the lab. If you want to use a gyroscope, you'll have to access the phone. A bummer for sure.
