Is anyone else having an issue with no third party apps working? Swarm and Uber aren't working for me, and at first I thought it might have something to do with location services, but then Trivia Crack (I know, I know) isn't working for me either.
Anyone else having this issue?
I'm experiencing the same issue. All of my third party apps, e.g. Fantastical, Things, Yahoo Weather and even the WWDC never loads. The app launches, and if available, the apps custom loading screen (e.g. the sun and the cloud in Yahoo Weather) is shown but the data is never retrieve.
I unpaired and repaired the watch to the phone and at least Uber is working now. Might help out. The unpairing and repairing is a pain in the *** though.
If I undertand the documentation correctly, nearly every 1.0 app will have to be rewritten to use the new 2.0 architecture. Apparently there is NO 1.0 compatibility mode in 2.0 (not sure why the Uber app is working).
From what I understand the Watch Extension logic moved from the phone to the actual watch, but is there really a reason that it wouldn't work as is?
Is the "Stocks" app working on your phones? Mine is not.
Yes! For one thing shared groups between the iPhone app and the Watch Extension are no longer available. I think there are several other changes that would keep 1.0 apps from working on 2.0 without modification.
