Watchos 2 photos don't sync

Installed WatchOS 2, and there doesn't seem to be a way to trigger photos to copy from phone to watch. There's no "sync" button obviously...but it's not doing it without one! :)

Mine seemed to not sync at first but after a power down of the watch and restart while on the charger they appeared and I've been syncing them between my computer photo's app to the specifically sycned folder and from my phone all day now without issue .

It syncs, just very slowly. Use less photo to solve the issues.

I still have not gotten this to work. I just got an Apple Watch, and upgraded it to watchOS2 prior to pairing.

The first time I paired, it said I had no photos on my watch. I had nothing in the "Favorites" folder in Photos, which is the default folder. I tried changing to another folder and... nothing. Waited several hours, and still nothing. so I put it back to Favorites, and then tagged a couple of photos as favorites so it would be in that folder. Still, after several hours, nothing on the watch. I tried it both with my watch on, and then off but on the stand. Nothing mattered. I tried rebooting the watch. Nothing.

I then unpaired the watch, and paired again. Since I had some photos in the Favorites album, (2 total), it copied those photos over to the watch. But from that point on, I couldn't do anything with photos. If I added photos to favorites on my phone, they would't get added to the watch. If I removed all photos from favorites such that it was empty, nothing - the two photos I originally put on the watch when I first paired are still there.

And again, I cannot do anything - such as rebooting the watch, to get this to change.

In many ways, I don't really care about photos on the watch that much, but if you say you can do it, you better freaking do it. And I just can't seem to get it to work. I'm NOT going to unpair and pair the watch again as a test, because I've finally set the watch up (notifications, etc.) the way I like it. If that's the only way to do it, I guess I can do it, but this just seems nonsensical.
