I used to download programming guides to get each guide as a single pdf document.
I tried today to get new guides, such as "File System Programming Guide" ; I went to the Mac developer Library (/developer.apple.com/ library/mac/navigation/), found the guide in the list and opened it. I can browse through the document, but cannot find anymore the download as pdf button.
Am I looking in the wrong place ? Or has the capabilioty been cancelled ?
I think in that example, it's been canceled. Apple generally prefers controlled docs, vs. fossilized downloads/PDFs, apparently.
Some docs make their way into the store/iTunes U as iBooks, but I don't see the FSPG in that group.
Apple is trying to anger and frustrate their developers as much as possible so they'll start programming exclusively for Andriod. That's the only real possible objective of this brain-dead policy. Next they'll have Tim Cook romping across the stage in a sweat yelling, "developers, developers, developers..."
