Even when building a new ios single view project, it will build and run, but I can't select the storyboard without xcode quitting. Needless to say, I'm dead in the water here.
Any ideas? Anyone else having this problem after insalling osx 10.11 and xcode 7 ?
Wow! That did it, I had something called RCWebColorPicker installed ( from I don't know where ). Deleting that file fixed my problem. Thank you very much! Now I can play.

I found a directory RCWebColorPicker.colorPicker floating around in my /ColourPickers directory. Had a creation date of 1 Jan 2011. Don't know where it came from, but I zapped it and now can open my storyboard in Xcode 7 Beta. Thank you kcathey!
Thanks. My ColorPicker folder is empty. How did you find that a custom color picker was the responsible? Maybe I can find who is the offensor here and help others.
Well, I just followed kcathey's advice and removed the one that I found. It was the only one in my ColorPicker folder.

My Storyboard was also crashing.
But I found a "RCWebColorPicker.colorPicker" file too. Once I removed it, and relaunched Xcode 7 Beta, my Storyboard no longer crashed.
I found this one too. It had a Unity logo, so it may have snuck when I did some Unity work years ago.
And removing all color pickers fixed my storyboard crashes.
Same.
Nothing found in the color picker folder.
