Hi,
I’ve just installed an app on 5 X iPad 2 for a museum. They have the iPads on stands an allow visitors to use them but I obviously only want them to see the app and nothing else (no access to the settings etc.)
I thought I found the solution with Guided Access as that worked fine and the GA passcode was needed to get off the app screen but unfortunately people can still reboot the iPad by holding down the Home and Power button. I know people can’t access the settings without adding the passcode after a reboot but it messes up the display and a staff member has to fix it. Any way to disable the Home and Power button completely?
Also I was curious to know how to disable the prompt ‘Guided Access is enabled. Triple click the home button to exit’ that gets displayed at the top of the screen. Kind of spoils the experience when someone is using that app and that keeps popping up.
Thanks for any help,
Andrew
