Hi!
I am currently in the process of learning Swift using the iOS Development with Swift 2.0 (https://teamtreehouse.com/tracks/ios-development-with-swift-20)track, I just wanted to get in touch with a quick question and hoping to gather some advice. Whilst going forward I’m keen to learn more and more about iOS app development, my initial short-term goal is to create a simple page-based application similar to those created by Adobe DPS (http://www.adobe.com/uk/products/digital-publishing-solution.html). I just wanted to ask your opinions… if I complete the iOS Development with Swift 2.0 track, do you think this will this cover the knowledge I will need to create such an app? Or am I better off learning for this specific goal (a page-based application) via other means or by using a different approach altogether? Even possibly using a template based approach to create a page-based application? If one existed?
I have experience creating such apps using DPS (for example https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/thinkingworks/id874897364?mt=8) but I’m keen to learn in more detail and use the xCode approach in order to have greater control.
Thanks again. Any advice would be very much appreciated.
Best Regards
Paul
