Installing the newly released Xcode 7.3

Hello,

I need to install Xcode 7.3 on several Macs. Going through the AppStore process would take a long time. Is there a way to download the dmg for Xcode 7.3 once and then install it multiple times?

Previously, I would go the https://developer.apple.com/downloads/

page and download the Xcode version that I needed, plus the command line tools. Now, Xcode 7.3 is not available there.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I would also be interested in knowing when this is available. It's odd, because the command line tools for Xcode 7.3 are up - but not xcode itself.

Exactly. And I'm also trying to find the combo update for OS X 10.11.4 -- in the same way it was available for OS X 10.11.3.

Agreed especially since we're having major issues downloading Xcode 7.3 from the AppStore, currently sitting at 11+ hours to download it.

It would be great if it was made available on the Developer Downloads page which seem to be downloading fine for me right now.

Seems to be available on https://developer.apple.com/downloads/ now.

Started this last night at 11pm. Said it was going to take 2 hours. Here it is 8:40am and it is stuck at installing 4 min... and has been that way for the past 45 minutes?

Thoughts?

Installed very smoothly yesterday night on an iMac.

I'm now installing on a MacBook AIr. Goes nicely, but will take 3 to 5 hours on my Internet connection.

Only gives you a link to Xcode on Store. However, when I press Update nothing happens. It's borked?

It took 6-7 hours her to download from the store. Than Installing for ~1hour. Then completed. Keep calm and wait. It should go.

If you are logged in to your developer account:

developer.apple.com/xcode/download is the page with the link to the app store.

developer.apple.com/downloads should get you a list of Xcode and a bunch of utilities, you can click the + next to Xcode 7.3 and then click the link for the .dmg file.

Looks like we're not going to be able to install Xcode 7.3 on OS X 10.10 (Mavericks). Anyone heard/read definitive info?

Yes, in the release notes.

As noted in the release notes and in the MAS, Xcode 7.3 minimum is OS X 10.11 or later.

I'm having the same issue, Installation hangs at 4min and I left it intsalling overnight, no success.

Im running OS X on a Mac Mini (Late 2012), 2.3 Intel Core 17, 8GB Ram,

For future reference:

- Go to Apple dev downloads page.

- Scroll to bottom of the page.

- Click "See more downloads".

- On the new page, scroll down until you find what you are looking.

- Click the '+' button and click on the link. This will start the download of your dmg.

This worked for me (Xcode 7.3.1).

Hope this helps
