I have just updated to Xcode 7.3, but the built-in fuzzy auto-complete drives me crazy.
How do I turn this feature off?

me too
You can turn off autocomplete (Xcode - Preferences - Text Editing - Suggest completions while typing), which will turn off the fuzzy-autocomplete. If you just want the fuzzy version, don't think there's the option.
I just turned it off on mine as it's slowing down *everything*.
I gave it an honest effort for a few weeks. It doesn't bother me so much in the autocomplete. Where it is annoying is within the "Open Quickly" prompt. I use Open Quickly to hop into different files. My files are rarely the first item in the list anymore.
There might be two changes working against me (speculation):
1. Fuzzy search returns more results
2. Some of the new results are method and variable names, which Xcode thinks are more relevant than the file I am trying to open. It prioritizes them higher in the list.
Xcode engineers, please remember that Open Quickly is an option from the File menu. Matched filenames should have higher priority than compenents within the file.
This change has slowed me down 5-10 seconds every time I use Open Quickly. I use Open Quickly all the time. I would estimate 100 times a day. That works out to about 8 to 16 minutes a day right now. I know I could retrain myself to the new way of doing it. It just means that I have to type more of the filename, with exact precision, in order for it to become the top result. If this new fuzzy search/Open Quickly logic is here to stay, I will get used to it. However, it seems like the sorting logic is not, well, logical.
