Hello,
after updating to watchOS 2, I only see contacts that I have created after the update on the watch. This clearly seems like a bug.
For the time being, does anyone have an idea how to get the rest of my contacts onto the watch?
Thanks
Alex

I fiddled in the Friends app, that that seemed to finally sync over all the Contacts
I had a similar issue, not displaying contact data properly. I fixed it by going into the apple watch app on iPhone - General - Reset - Reset sync data. It won't delete anything - it will just force your watch to resync.
I had a similar issue, not displaying contact data properly. My problem is that o couldn`t not fixed it on iPhone - General - Reset - Reset sync data. Reset sync data isn`t active on my iphone watch. The other 2 options are active. If I press the Reset sync data ``button`` nothing happens . The only radical solution is to unpair the watch and pair again as a new watch . Do you have a solution to this problem?
