Swift + iOS - How many storyboard?

Hi all, in my iOS app I have to add some views for different functions.

In which case is good add a new view in the same storyboard, or in which case is better to create a new storyboard and to add the views in the new one?

Thank all! I have searched in some discussions, but the only answer was related only to the data change between views. But my question is related to the "best practice", to the best way to develop.

Thank.

Storyboards give an overview of your UI, including how the parts relate to each other. You lose that overview if you break your UI into lots of smaller files (whether storyboards or XIB files).

Until recently, the advantage of having everything in one storyboard is that you can connect segues inside the storyboard, and not have to program the details in your code. However, recently it's become possible to separate out parts of storyboard into separate files, leaving the segues in place.

I would recommend you start with one storyboard, and keep adding to it until you feel it's too big or too slow to work with. At that point, you can move logical parts of it to an independent storyboard or to a referenced storyboard.
