After registering a UDID in your certificates, do you have download anything to xcode for that UDID to be applied to an adhoc Archive of your iOS build?

My titles are thurough but long winded.

I'm just trying to ensure a client gets an iOS build properly but I'm not certain if the Adhoc IPA calls back to Apple directly or if it internally has a reference to all the UDIDs in its build as a part of the packaging process. I don't actually care to know the process itself but I want to sure that if I register a UDID and then immediately do a build after it, that build will work for the UDID in question.

I hope this is an easy answer.

Cheers,

I think I've discovered my own answer. Let me see if this is right.

1) Add the new UDIDs.
2) Update the mobile Provision with the new UDIDs.
3) download the new mobile provision file.

4) rearchive the project with he new provision file.

Is that it in a nutshell? Confirmation might be nice.

What is it that you don't want your app to talk to Apple? Sounds like an abuse of the platform.
