Glances for third party apps stop working

Glances for third party apps work for a period of time and then they stop working. When you try to view the glances it displays the spinning circle in top right corner and does nothing. Even tapping on the glance does not open the application on the watch.


Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, I have seen the same thing...but not for third party. For built-in apps...specifically Weather and Stocks.

Yes, seeing same issue. Glances are not updating, both for 3rd party as well as stock apps.


Update: rebooting the watch "resets" glances and they start updating again

Just an FYI, a quicker fix I have been using is to go into Apple Watch app on iPhone and select glances and remove the ones that are not updating/working and then re-add them right away. You will then notice that the glances work again for a while.

In beta 2 I'm still experiencing this. Anyone else?

I've found that I have to reboot my watch daily to get glances to work for third party apps since Apple Watch 2.0 Beta 3. If I do a watch reboot each morning, then glances works again for 24 hours. In 2.0 Betas 1 and 2, I had to remove then re-add glances to get them to work after updating the watch OS. That issue seems to have at least been resolved with 2.0 Beta 3.

I'm still having to reboot to get the glances to update. They will work for less than an hour updating on use and then soon after spin endlessly unless I reboot again. Beta 4.
